Returns Policy
At Maxus Parts Direct, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not, we offer a straightforward returns process.
14-Day Return Period
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have 14 days from the date of delivery to return items for a full refund. Items must be:
- Unused and in original condition
- In original packaging
- Accompanied by proof of purchase (order number or invoice)
How to Return an Item
- Contact us via our Contact Us page with your order number and reason for return
- We will provide you with a returns authorisation and delivery instructions
- Package the item securely and send it to the address provided
- Once received and inspected, we will process your refund within 14 days
Return Shipping Costs
- Change of mind: Return shipping is at the customer’s expense
- Faulty or incorrect item: We will cover return shipping costs
Exchanges
If you need a different part, we recommend returning the original item for a refund and placing a new order. This ensures the fastest service.
Faulty Goods
If you receive a faulty item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with:
- Your order number
- Description of the fault
- Photographs showing the issue
We will arrange a replacement or full refund including any return shipping costs. Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are unaffected.
Non-Returnable Items
For hygiene and safety reasons, the following items cannot be returned once opened:
- Electrical components that have been fitted
- Fluids and lubricants
- Items that have been modified or fitted to a vehicle
Refund Method
Refunds will be made to the original payment method within 14 days of receiving the returned goods.
