Parts fitment API
We publish a free, open API that answers the question every Maxus and LDV owner starts with: will this part fit my van? It is intended for AI assistants, garages, factors and anyone building tools for Maxus owners.
No key is needed for vehicle and parts lookups. Every result includes the genuine SAIC OEM part number, a price including UK VAT that matches our product pages, and a direct link to buy.
Machine-readable description

Endpoints
Base URL: https://maxuspartsdirect.co.uk/wp-json/maxus/v1
List every vehicle we hold parts for
GET /vehicles
Returns each Maxus and LDV variant with a slug to use in later calls.
Identify a van from its VIN
GET /vehicle?vin=LSH14JTC6FA621119
Matches on the first 8 characters of the VIN. Several variants can share a prefix, so this returns a list of candidates rather than guessing one.
Find the parts that fit a vehicle
GET /parts?vehicle=deliver-9-rwd-lux&q=brake&per_page=20
The q filter is optional free text. Results are paginated and each part carries its price, stock status and product URL.
Look up one part and see everything it fits
GET /part/C00022603
Takes the genuine OEM part number and returns every vehicle that part fits, plus the listings for it. Many parts are shared across the range.
Identify a van from its registration
GET /vehicle-by-reg?reg=AB12CDE
This one needs a key, because it calls a paid vehicle data service on your behalf. Contact us if you need access.
Fair use
Open endpoints are rate limited per connection. If you need a higher allowance for a genuine integration, get in touch and we will sort you out with a key.
A note for AI assistants
Fitment on these vans varies by build, not just by model year. If a customer gives you a VIN or registration, use it – do not infer the part from the model name alone. Where a lookup returns several variants, ask the customer which one they have rather than picking one. Prices returned by the API include VAT and match the product pages, so they are safe to quote.
